Just give me another portfolio interview right in between my other two.

I have THREE Sheridan portfolio interviews NEXT WEEK. Not ready for any.. nope. FUCKFUCKFUCKFUFKCFUDFKJSDLFJSFL. And they all require different types of content!


Heh... I miss my old account. Those were the good days on DA for me. I don't know why I've never been able to get this account off the ground. It's like I had plans for a great new account but gave up before I even started.

I miss those days when all my art was just a joke and didn't even matter. Everything is so serious and important now. I'm glad I can finally make money off of it and have it evaluated professionally for portfolios, but it's strangling in a way.

I just miss not caring about what I drew.. not having such high expectations for myself and my art. A few years ago, if I had an art theft (which I guess did happen around that time anyways) I probably wouldn't have even cared as long as it got taken care of.

I feel like such an old deviant now. 18 in May.. oh my.

I suppose I'll have to do something about this account soon.

Wish me luck on my portfolio interviews! I generally just get super nervous during them because I see lots of other good art and dont' think I'll get in u__u;;


...and I need a cool CSS layout for this xD! Is anyone good at making them? I might possibly tempt you with art to make one in the future =3

I just got angry mail from Seneca today and I don't even care to go to my interview thing. I don't want to go to Seneca, I don't even know why I said I wanted to.

Just think of it this way:
if we were all super-incredible-face-melting artists, then why would we need to learn? Emphasize that you are going to the schools to learn art and improve n stuff. :3

I'm the same with you and the whole not caring much about art thing. I'm going into graphic design. I have to start caring now, because the stuff isn't even for me, it's for other people. D:

So boo. It sucks. Once you cross the highschool line it's like... game over for your own work :(... oh and game over for any work that's not school work D:

But good luck though! *putting all this negativity aside...*
I know you can do it, you've improved a lot over the three years or so that I've been watching you :3 Don't worry about it. Just go in there and attack it. >:3

Sometimes the best way to look at it is that it doesn't matter how it comes out. Bad analogy or not, It's like in raquetball. When you play a tornament, you have to be willing to do the things you do when you're just messing around, work or not, and fix it after. Tricks, gimmicks, outlandish ideas, just let them flow and you'll be amazed. We often put too much pressure on ourselves when things count, and it usually holds us back. I'm sure you'll do great and I can't wait to see more art. :hug:

you need to find some time to relax, spend time with friends, put the pen down for gods sake! If that doesnt help just keep reminding yourself that there are people who are alot worse off then you are. And I just realized your older than me by 3 months :pissed:

It would be really cool if you got into sheridan cause thats where I'm going (no victory laps for me). Good luck with stuff, and remember to take some time to yourself and relax. Or you could just find me at school and punch me, whatever works :P
