Augh... but my parents are being so stupid about it now. They keep trying to force me to take math at waterloo because I suck so much at art.

Mmm.. I haven't felt this good about my life since this summer at camp.

Gosh.. okay. After I went in to drop off my animation portfolio for evaluation at Sheridan, and got to see the place and talk to animation students/faculty and see their classrooms... I've finally decided that this REALLY IS what I want to do with my life. Like.. no other option even matters anymore. Even if I don't get in next year, I will keep trying and trying. I talked to this one guy in 3rd year, and apparently he is THE BEST student in his year, yet he had to try three times to get in! So he did art fundamentals two times before actually getting in. A lot of people said that the fundamentals was a really strong foundation so I actually kind of want to go into that program first and then animation... but if I actually get into animation on my first try, then I guess I will go into that xD.

All the students I talk to though (about 7..or 8?) didn't get in their first try. So I realized it's okay if that happens. I'm no longer worried about whether I get in or not, because I'm pretty sure fundies has my back.

I AM SO WORRY-FREE FOR ONCE IN FOREVER AND EVER. This feeling is just godly. Srsly.

Originally they told me that if I didn't get into animation, they would send me an application for animation fundamentals, but LUCKILY, when I was doing my design interview today, I got my mom to go to the animation info session that I went to yesterday and they told her that they gave me incorrect information! Apparently you DO have to apply for the fundies separately... so I had to drop my Illustration application and change it to fundies.

WHICH MEANS NO MORE ILLUSTRATION PORTFOLIO EVALUATION ON SATURDAY THAT I DIDN'T EVEN START AND WAS STRESSED ABOUT BUT NOW I DON'T HAVE TO DO AT ALL YESSSSSSSSSS.

I have THREE Sheridan portfolio interviews NEXT WEEK. Not ready for any.. nope. FUCKFUCKFUCKFUFKCFUDFKJSDLFJSFL. And they all require different types of content!


Heh... I miss my old account. Those were the good days on DA for me. I don't know why I've never been able to get this account off the ground. It's like I had plans for a great new account but gave up before I even started.

I miss those days when all my art was just a joke and didn't even matter. Everything is so serious and important now. I'm glad I can finally make money off of it and have it evaluated professionally for portfolios, but it's strangling in a way.

I just miss not caring about what I drew.. not having such high expectations for myself and my art. A few years ago, if I had an art theft (which I guess did happen around that time anyways) I probably wouldn't have even cared as long as it got taken care of.

I feel like such an old deviant now. 18 in May.. oh my.

I suppose I'll have to do something about this account soon.

Wish me luck on my portfolio interviews! I generally just get super nervous during them because I see lots of other good art and dont' think I'll get in u__u;;


...and I need a cool CSS layout for this xD! Is anyone good at making them? I might possibly tempt you with art to make one in the future =3
